En cette période de confinement et de recours au télétravail et aux loisirs numériques, cyberattaques et autres tentatives de piratage n’ont jamais été aussi nombreuses. Pour vous donner un ordre d’idée, Google affirme détecté 18 millions de malwares et d’attaques par phishing par jour ! Les services et applications les plus fréquentés à l’heure actuelle sont évidemment les plus touchés.
Un pirate a attaqué le store alternatif Aptoide et a diffusé des millions de données privées. Sur les réseaux sociaux, la situation n’est guère mieux. 267 millions de comptes Facebook ont été piratés et vendus sur le dark web. Et en ce jeudi 23 avril, la société spécialisée en sécurité informatique Cybernews annonce avoir détecté 101 applications malveillantes, actuellement disponibles sur le Google Play Store.
Selon les renseignements de l’entreprise, ces applis appartiennent toutes à un réseau de 27 développeurs Android dont le but est clairement de détrousser les utilisateurs. En effet, ces applications sont remplies de malwares capables de siphonner vos données personnelles et de vous bombarder de publicités sans discontinuer. Précisions que ces applis cumulent tout de même près de 69 millions de téléchargements…

Des demandes d’autorisation d’accès suspectes
En plus de vous harceler avec des annonces commerciales à la pelle, ces applis malveillantes demandent une quantité démentielle de permissions, sans raison valable. Evidemment, il ne faut en aucun cas donner son autorisation, sous peine de voir nombreuses de vos informations personnelles (photos, vidéos, répertoire, identifiants divers, etc.) filer dans les mains des pirates.
Cybernews a estimé que les pirates pourraient gagner jusqu’à 976 000 dollars par mois en revendant les données personnelles collectées. Pour l’heure, Google n’a toujours pas supprimé ces applications vérolées du Play Store. Il est bien évidemment conseillé de les supprimer de votre smartphone si vous en avez installé une ou plusieurs d’entre elles. Pour vous éviter de les télécharger, en voici la liste complète :
